Fine Pencil Art
There is something quietly powerful about the connection we have with the life we keep in water.
A fish is never just a fish.
It becomes part of your daily rhythm… a presence, a personality, a story unfolding in stillness.
My work is about honoring that connection.
Each piece begins with observation and intention, then moves through a process that blends decades of artistic practice with modern tools and traditional hand coloring. What you receive is not a reproduction, but a one-of-a-kind artwork created slowly, thoughtfully, and with care.
These are not just illustrations.
They are moments preserved.
A way to hold onto something that once moved gently through your world.
Let’s create something meaningful together.
Tina Camacho is a multidisciplinary artist with over 30 years of experience spanning traditional and digital mediums. Her creative journey began in film photography and darkroom development, later evolving into digital art during the early days of Photoshop, where she developed a strong foundation in visual storytelling and image manipulation.
She studied photography and digital media at the Academy of Art University in California, where she participated in collaborative artistic projects, including a sculpture documentation series in Millbrook, New York. Her work has been published, commercially commissioned, and exhibited in galleries throughout New York City and Connecticut.
For over 25 years, Tina worked as a professional photographer, capturing everything from commercial branding projects to fine art and pet portraiture, including work connected to nationally recognized events such as the Westminster Dog Show.
Today, her work brings together decades of experience, blending digital illustration with traditional hand-coloring techniques to create one-of-a-kind aquatic artworks that are both technically detailed and emotionally grounded.
